Get rid of the giant banner advertisement for the ESPN app.

Best part is a lot of people actually paid for that feature when the app came out. They removed the ability to save your favorites a while back as well. The seeking disabled is obviously money driven but removing little helpful features like favorites shows the app devs at ESPN have no clue what they are doing. How a successful company as large as ESPN can continue to ignore user feedback just baffles me.

Update has ridiculous huge link to take you to ESPN full app. If want the ESPN app Ill use it. More significantly, update disables seeking, the ability to move back an hour and jump around listening. I wont be using this anymore.

Half the screen is covered by an add for the horrible ESPN app. Please dont ruin this app by selling us a worse app. Keep up the good work ESPN!

Before the update the app worked great. With update there is a huge ad to make you download another ESPN app.download time is taking longer. Also the huge ad prevents you from strolling down in your already downloaded podcast. I download several podcast each day before work and DO NOT want to use ESPN listen because you have to use data to listen to podcast. ESPN take off the huge ad or I promise you will lose many listeners to other radio listen apps.I wouldnt recommend this app to anybody until they bring back the old app.I normally dont write reviews but decided to since I was in the App Store looking for new apps to listen to at work to replace the ESPN radio app.I wish we could give negative stars instead of 1 star.

I paid for this app some time ago and ESPN has hacked and slashed away every reason to use it. Oh and by the way, NO I DONT WANT TO USE YOUR NEW FREAKING APP! Take away the stupid ad.

4/19/16 Update: I took a star away, because instead of fixing the crashing/buffering nightmare that is this app, you added a HUGE ad that covers have the screen that I cannot dismiss. Are you serious?? The world wide leader??? You are trending toward zero/negative stars. Original: Come on ESPN. You are a major network. You are owned by Disney, for goodness sake. There is NO reason this app should be this piss poor. I listen to my local station every morning. And every morning, it crashes. I read the other reviews, it seems to be crashing for just about everyone. Is anyone at ESPN paying attention to this app? Or is it because its radio, its low on the radar list. Fine. I can understand you not wanting to make the app the flashiest greatest looking thing out there. But at least make it functional.

Please take off the "Listen To On ESPN app" banner off!!! Its pointless and not needed... I have ESPN radio for a reason and would rather use it than the ESPN app for my listening

I love that I can listen to Jalen and Jacoby consistently. Got this app just to listen to the best podcast.

Once again ESPN has destroyed a once great app! The half page ad is a joke! I cant stream at work! A complete disaster!

1/2 your screen is taken up w/ advertising ESPN app which does NOT allow podcast downloads. Switching to Apple Podcasts to get PTI and Lebatard. Favorites tab has still been removed. It will not be long before they launch a premium $$$ version.

Now that there are a thousand complaints about the banner ad, are you going to remove it or what ? So stupid....

Either upgrade the ESPN app to let us download shows and play everything consecutively or get rid of the ad. It takes up half the screen and you cannot get rid of it. If you want to push everyone to use that app make it as good as this used to be before this ad.

What the heck, come on ESPN! Your app designs are the worst!

If I wanted the full ESPN app Id download it. Only want the radio for a reason. The long pauses/lagging on this app are annoying enough, now you put a giant banner that blocks half the screen. Worse than normal job on the update
