Pretty sad Espn would allow a App be so awful. Besides buffering all day, it cuts out. So no M & M in my office or M Kay show, have to wait to I get in my car. Pretty embarrassing & it may say a lot about the engineers ESPN has hired.
Whats the point of having a radio app that doesnt play whats on their station? Lakers game is on 710 in my car but crap sporting news is on the app. And whats up with this crap UI? It looks like the media player I made for my xanga page back in the 90s
Ive used this app for the last few years. Its been reliable and is updated quickly. However, Its still not updated to fit my iPhone plus screen, which is kind of annoying. I also noticed the removal of the seek button which is very disappointing. I use this from start to end of my work day, and I think I speak for other users of this app to say it needs an update and some more modern radio features.
No more rewind no more listen. They way Mike and mike have CONSTANT promos its just greed. Formerly I listened every day. Now I cant take it. Here is one for espnradio....SHOVE IT!!!
Was going to post another review, but my original still sums it up. This app has no worth. It actually has less than worth as it takes up 724 MB that could be used for anything else. Anything else...
dont get this app if you actually want to listen to something without constantly having to restart EVERYTHING!! every time I get into a show or something or Im really interested in whats being said itll just cut in and out. its really annoying to say the least. Ive been going to the Iheart radio app to get my sports talk fix!
After listening for about 10-15 min the feed begins to cut in and out and has to be restarted. Is rather frustrating
This is one of the worst apps available. I cannot believe that a company like ESPN would sponsor this trash. This thing wont stay running for more than ten minutes at a time. You can be on wifi and itll crash. It will freeze up and lock your phone up regularly. When this happens I have to do a hard reset of my phone just to get it to work again. When it doesnt lock up or stop working, it will skip back about ten minutes in the audio so you end up listening to something youve already heard instead of a live stream. This will happen often within one listening session. Ive had this app for years, but only because I cant get the specific programming I want elsewhere. Theyve made efforts lately to fix this, but not a great effort at all. This is pathetic.
I dont prefer the ESPN app and now there is a giant ad for one in the radio app, and I cant find a way to turn it off. Classy.
Half of the screen gets taken up from an ad for the ESPN app and you cant get rid of it or turn it off. Terrible.
What happened to this app?????
What kind of app removes features, especially the favorites tab!? What a disaster!!!!!
I used to love this app because I could download podcasts at home and not use data. Now it has a giant ESPN App ad on there and its hard to use because of small screen real estate. ESPN app doesnt allow downloads for offline listening. Please remove the ad. Im not removing all the stars because at the end of the day it is the only one that allows me to do what I want but its sure annoying.
Well if you dont get tired of mike and Mike letting you know about the new ESPN app, your in luck! Ads, ads, and half page ads! Terrible UI / GI with latest update.
This app is awful. Either get the content into the serviceable ios podcast interface or fix this piece of poo app. It has a giant ad for another ESPN app taking up half the screen, doesnt auto play the next episode, and is in general an awful experience that reflects poorly on the espn brand. 0 stars earned, only because I cant give negative stars.
I never have any issues with this app. It lets me listen to a ton of games while Im bathing the baby or running around the house. Definitely a must have for out of town New Yorkers as well. Added bonus is muting NBC Sports and listening to ESPN radio coverage instead.
This app now has a giant banner pushing everyone over to the ESPN app. I would go, but the ESPN app doesnt allow downloading podcasts! I work in an area that doesnt have Wifi or cell reception and need the ability to download the podcasts at home and listen later. Get the ability to download podcasts while I am at home on wifi and then Ill transition over.
Will work great at times, other times it buffers non-stop and can be buggy (same 10 seconds of live stream repeats).
REMOVE THE GIANT AD. Whoevers idea that was needs to be let go.
